Q: Do you offer Returns?
A: We do not offer returns or refunds. All sales are final. Please be sure to look over the item carefully and double check the dimensions before you purchase. Please keep in mind we sell vintage furniture that may have age appropriate wear. If you would like more photos or have questions about the item, please reach out to us before purchase!
Q: Can you Hold something for me?
A: No, we cannot “Hold” any items. Once an item is PAID however, we allow you 2 weeks to pick it up or arrange for delivery.
Q: Do you offer Nationwide Shipping or Delivery?
A: YES, we do! Shipping is NOT included in the listed price of our items and must be added based on the item and your location. Please visiting our “Shipping” section for all the details.
Q: When is the Warehouse open?
A: Our warehouse is currently open every WEEKEND from 11-3pm. You may visit 11-3pm Sat and Sun without an appointment. We are also available BY APPOINTMENT on weekdays.
Q: How can I make a weekday appointment for the Warehouse?
A: To make an appointment, please email fluxmodernwarehouse@gmail.com It is helpful if you can tell us what you are looking for prior to the appointment so that we can make sure we have it in stock.
Q: Where are you located?
A: 82 S Main Street Ocean Grove, NJ 07756 . This is on the very edge of Ocean Grove on RT 71 near the JSAC building and across the street from the Burger King. Maps will sometimes say we are in “Neptune” instead of Ocean Grove.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Yes, we do have a small parking lot. Please be courteous of other drivers when turning in and out of the driveway. It is also very walkable from other street parking available in Ocean Grove and Asbury Park. However, to load up any purchases, you will want to pull into our parking lot.
Q: Where do you find your furniture?
A: Most of our furniture is purchased from individuals in the NJ area. We also enjoy roadtrips, and sometimes will pick up furniture while we travel.
Q: How can I sell you my furniture?
A: Please send us photos, where you are located, and what amount you are looking to get for each piece. We prefer furniture from the 1950s-1970s era, but we are happy to review any photos you send. When in doubt, just send us a pic to fluxmodern@gmail.com ! If we are interested, you can either bring the furniture to our warehouse, or we can make a house call (we are more likely to visit you if you have multiple items for sale).
Q: Do you offer refinishing and reupholstery on outside furniture?
A: We currently do not offer refinishing services on outside furniture. Our current workload does not allow it. However, we can often refinish and customize our own items for you if you are interested in making a purchase.
Q: What is a “Warehouse Sale”, and how can I sign up?
A: WAREHOUSE SALES happen about once a month. We mark most items down in price and sometimes will bring out discounted as-is pieces from our storage. We also bring out new inventory that we haven’t posted anywhere yet. WAREHOUSE SALE events don’t require an appointment but to stay in the loop and get notified about WAREHOUSE SALES, please sign up for our mailing list and follow us on Instagram @fluxmodern !
Q: Your furniture seems to sell so quickly! How can I be sure to snag something before everyone else?
A: First- follow us on Instagram and turn on “post notifications”- this will alert you every time we post some thing new (which is about once a day). If you see something you like, message us right away. And also watch out for our monthly Instagram Stories Sales where you can shop for deals from home! Second- be sure to sign up for our “Warehouse Sale” mailing list so that we can alert you when we are having a warehouse sale. We will also use this list to alert you when we add new items to the website!
